I was just wondering can you play Bingo on an online site that orginates from the UK? Just asking because with the new laws in the States I'm sure a lot of people will be looking to play elsewhere. Thanks

As far as I know the new law is only for people living in the US, and it doesnt matter where the bingo site is based they still cant play.

You will notice on most bingo websites now they will not allow people from the US to sign up.

Yep, you are right on that. I found this out. It really blows that I cannot play for money anymore. I don't get it but I will say I have more time now to do other things.

If you're a diehard fan of those sites, you can get a non-US based VISA card and they don't know the difference. It's not a bad thing to have anyway.

The UK sites have great jackpot games, just before Xmas someone won £91,000 on Virgin Bingo - the jackpot was between all the St Minver clubs. As for regular prizes - the big chains like Mecca and Gala have the best online prizes with people like St Minver not far behind. Better still, the games are great value unlike some of the other clubs out there.

Google some of the off shore banks (the legit ones) and read the fine print ...some offer pay pal or visa cards. I know some of the Swiss banks are now doing this ...there's usually a set up fee but it isn't as prohibitive as you might think either.

I am sure it has something to do with paying taxes in the US, but I don't know if I trust an online bingo with my money. It would be nice to speak to someone who has won even just a little money.

I just received something from one of the places I used to play on about signing up for an overseas Visa, but I am just not sure how much I trust them.
To answer your question trick-r-treat, I have won a few times. Not a ton of money but I was alway paid when I won.
