Default Food getting expensive .....

Food is starting to get a bit outrageous, almost 5.00 for a gallon of milk!! 1.29 for a loaf of bread. What are some things you are going to do to help offset the rising prices of food?

I have started to buy a lot more of the supermarket own brand stuff. Cereals are much cheaper and my family don't notice the difference. I rarely buy biscuits but, Morrison's do milk chocolate digestives that I think are better (and much cheaper than the brand leader). I buy Tesco own brand liquid soap, shower gel, bubble bath and washing liquid. They are massively cheaper than the branded ones and just as good.

I am cooking from scratch alot more now, and that saves me lots of money. My husband likes my cooking better than store-bought, so he's happy!
