Your First Crush
We're not talking about husbands and men in general. I mean the first actor, musician, or whoever that made your toes tingle and your heart beat just a little faster...
Mine would have to be John Lennon. He had the quickest wit and interesting things to say, not to mention the way he played his guitar...

I can't remember who it would have been, but I'm ashamed to say that I had a poster of Rick Astley in my bedroom at one stage ....

Green, I'll forget Rick Astley if you can forget my Monkees fling. I knew they were bubblegum, but Mike was just so cute!

Molly I don't think anyone has ever made my toes tingle! It didn't go as far as posters on the wall, but my favourite man was an actor called Richard O'Sullivan. He was in a series called Man about the House. To be honest I was more interested in show jumping in my teens, John Whitaker was my favourite, but I think I was more interested in the horses than the riders.

That's true; girls with horses or access to them do tend to have that on their mind instead.

If you were to ask me about my favourite men now, there would be a whole list of them but my top two would be Philip Schofield and David Attenborough. I know that David Attenborough is old, but he has an amazing voice and he has been my hero for as long as I can remember.

David Attenborough has a wonderful voice! He can talk about anything, even tragedies, and make it sound noble and/ or uplifting.

I'm glad you think that Molly, my family tease me unmercifully for liking David Attenborough. It isn't a crush, I have just always admired him. I loved watching his programs on TV when I was a child and I have been interested in his work ever since.

Speaking of guys with distinctive speaking voices, do you sometimes wish you could combine David Attenborough with...oh I don't know, Brad Pitt's body? Now there's a whole new thread, who's voice and who's body? That would take some thinking over...

I don't know who Brad Pitt is so I can honestly say I have never thought about his body. I tend to be attracted more by voices and personality rather than just looks, but I like dark hair and dark eyes so on looks alone I would go for someone like David Schwimmer.
