Tater, if you've seen Monty Python, you've seen John Clese (the tall guy with dark hair). He wrote and starred in Fawlty Towers, which I believe was done in the late 70s. You are going to enjoy it!

Knowing my luck, if I got a parrot to sit on my shoulder it would turn out to be an incontinent one!

Now I know who you mean. My husband love Monty Python. I had never watched it until I married him.

I think the favourite episode of Fawlty Towers was when he got smacked on the head with the stuffed moose, escaped from the hospital with his head wrapped in bandages and wearing the a hospital gown, and when Germans came to the hotel he kept saying things about world war 2.
My fave scene is in another episode when he pulled the tree out of the ground and beat his car with it.

It's much funnier than I told it, I promise!

I think it is funny because we all have those feelings of frustration like wanting to beat the car with a tree, but he expresses it. John Cleese has a particularly expressive body, even the way he moves is funny.

Oh yes, you're right about that. I remember when we first saw John Cleese in the "Ministry of Silly Walks". We laughed so hard we almost hurt ourselves.

Here's something else about John Cleese from an interview with him we saw awhile ago. He said that the family name used to be Cheese, and it was either his grandfather or dad who had it changed. I think it would have made him funnier if he had changed it back to John Cheese!
