Never would I laugh at you, Green. I still think of you as an international woman of mystery...maybe when your head heals (soon I hope) you can start wearing an eye patch or summat....

lol the things you get up to as a kid. I used to hang around with this gang and we'd get a cheap bottle of cider and go somewhere and drink it.

I hope that your head is healing well. I have seen people that will go into a store and buy beer for younger kids. There is no way I would ever do that for someone under age.

That story reminds me of the funny looks we get when when we go on holiday. My mum and step dad always come with us and often we stay overnight at a Travel Lodge or similar on the way. We always get funny looks when we book in because my mum is called Smith and my last name is Jones. People think we are using unimaginative aliases.

Good one! Puts a little interest in the hotel-worker's days, trying to suss out what you all are up to...

If only they knew, I am probably one of the most ordinary and boring people they will ever meet!

That reminds me of one of my favorite Fawlty Towers episode, where Basil mistakenly thinks there are naughty hi-jinks going on when an extended family stays at the hotel.

I loved Fawlty Towers, my favourite was the one about the rat. They only made a few episodes but every single one was brilliant.

I have never heard of Fawlty Towers. I will have to check it out online. I can only imagine what the hotel workers were thinking.
