There are days when I think I'd settle for being rich! Thankfully they're not very often, but I'm ashamed to say that they do happen.

I agree with you as well, Green!
It's totally reasonable to feel "bitter", although I might term it a thorough understanding of human nature.
My husband and I were watching a DVD of Fawlty Towers, and we were falling off the sofa laughing. My hubby looked bemused at me and asked if I remembered when I used to work in clinics and felt fed up that I would side with Basil Fawlty and his battles with his customers? Did I really do that? I guess working at home has made me much mellower....

Running a business would be so much simpler if there were no customers to confuse matters eh?
