Default Kmkywap???

My husband's birthday was last month and I got him the complete DVD collection of "Knowing You, Knowing Me, With Alan Partridge" and he was over the moon about it, as this had to be one of his favourite comedy series. We think that Steve Coogan is one of the funniest actors around. He plays an ass so convincingly that sometimes you feel uncomfortable just watching him. Anybody else Coogan fans?

I have never heard of him. My husband loves comedians. I wonder if he has. I will have to look this show up. Was it on only in the UK?

They showed it on BBCAmerica, but I don't think it was showed on other channels in the States. Coogan also was in Around the World in 80 Days with Jackie Chan, where he played the main character whose name I can't remember at all. He was also in a movie called 24 Hour Party People, which was a drama. He's a wonderful actor no matter what kind of character he plays. If I'm remembering correctly, 80 days would be a good movie the whole family can watch.
If you have Netflicks, you can get all of the Steve Coogan DVDs from them.

Thank you, I will have to check these movies out. They sound like something that my husband would enjoy. Thanks for sharing them. I love to watch good comedians.

I have heard of Alan Partridge but, don't often watch him and probably couldn't tell you who he is. My favourite stars are Lee Evans and Sharon Osborne. I have been writing a blog all about Sharon Osborne at the moment. I just landed myself a job at Today.com writing all about her and as she is my favourite star you can imagine how pleased I was about that. As for comedy Sharon makes me laugh a lot and so does Lee Evans.

He's not one of my favourites, Alan Partridge just made me cringe with embarassment. I gues it just depends what sort of comedy you like. Billy Connoly is my favourite comedian.

Lee Evans makes me laugh til I cry! What was the name of the series he had with the big black-haired guy (who played Spud Gun in Bottom)? I would love to find a DVD of that show, it was the best!
Billy Connolly is also a grand comedian. He can comment on something so commonplace, yet he makes it hysterically funny!
Mickie, good on you for landing that blogging job!!

My daughter loves Sharon Osborne, a year or so ago she got tickets to go to the Sharon Osborne tv show, she had a fantastic time and she talked about it for weeks afterwards.

My favourite Billy Connelly sketch is Potatoes of the Night. Anyone remember that one?

Congrats Mickie on the job. I've never seen Sharon Osbourne.

I like the one about the man who needed somewhere to park his bicycle, but I'm afraid it is far too rude to post more details here.

Nice to see you back on the site Green-Moo, you haven't posted for a few weeks, were you on holiday?
