Default Bingo Mainly for women

Bingo Halls are mostly filled with Women. Now that bingo is online, is it still mostly women that play or do more men play now days?

I know a lot of men that play bingo online. To be honest bingo halls around here are starting to attract more men. Maybe because their wives are winning.

In the UK there's always been a good portion of men who play. Many with their partners and many on their own. In the online world it's funny, sites that are all pink and cutesy tend to have lots of women playing, but sites that aren't have a good proportion of men and women. The Sun Bingo is almost 50 / 50 I think.

It just goes to show men enjoy a game of bingo (I know I do!) and some sites are effectively alienating men in their marketing and design. That's all well and good as they think they're targeting their core market, but it just means blokes like me spend our money elsewhere!

I posted something about Ronaldo playing bingo and I think this shows it is no longer just a game for women, but for men and women alike. Views are changing anyway. I mean I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and I let her play with cars instead of dolls and don't see anything wrong with this she loves cars, but she will also play with dolls as well.

Mickey, I have a three year old granddaughter that has been "technologically inclined" for most of her life. She can remove batteries from anything that uses them. Each year my hubby buys her a little flashlight (like the ones you put of keyrings), and she's fascinated for hours, training light on the walls, into corners, etc. She loves to dress up as a princess and has her little pony dolls, but I think her first love is gadgets.
Ronaldo will probably bring in a few more blokes to bingo halls. I see more older men playing bingo, and you can tell they have a wonderful time doing it.

The same sites also ailienate qiute a lot of women with that sort of marketing. I may be female but I am not an air head and I don't live in a 'pink' world so that sort of advertising is a big turn off.

I know that Bingo halls attract more women than men, but why do you think that is?

I agree that some places are just way over the top trying to advertise just to women. I could definitely go without the pink everywhere.

I really dislike being presented with pink and assumptions made about my preferences. You don't find all power tool sites coloured blue and featuring sports cars for instance as they are catering to men.

I feel really offended by this excess of pink 'fluffy' marketing. To me it seems they are treating women more like children. That sort of marketing is better suited to pre teen girls who are still into Barbie dolls and all that sort of thing.
