This goes hand in hand with internet gaming addiction that many youths face - it alters their personality, and I think it is very hard to change their perception on life unless you remove the cause - i.e. gambling . gaming. One must be careful and have a suitable replacement also, as if you remove something that is taking up so much time, they'll be left with a huge vacum....

A friend's son in law is in his 30s and became addicted to some kind of war game on the internet where other people also play online. He met a girl and started talking to her, and between the game and the girl he spent literally every spare minute online when he was home,
His wife and children didn't even come second.
My friend's daughter has told her that she fell out of love with him; they are going to counseling since she threatened to leave him, but she says she can't dredge up an ounce of feeling for him. He's really sorry, now that he understands her depth of hurt, but I'm sorry to say he's too late.

That is very sad. It makes me wonder if there were problems that made him do those things in the first place. Once these games become an obsession it is very hard for people to break away from it, it just seems to take over.

People should learn when to stop. They should try free online bingo sites. They don't give has much excitement but it's better than stealing and throwing you life away for something that is not being profitable.

The problem is that something about it becomes addictive and by the time they become aware of it the obsession has taken hold and they can't stop. Personally I think that some people have more of an addictive personality than others, so they are more likely to encounter problems.
