Default Sitting Comfortably

The other day I was chatting to an older woman who is a keen bingo player. She said that selecting the right seat is most important. She likes to sit in the same place every week, not because the seat is lucky but because she knows that she can see and hear well and there is nothing to distract her. I had not thought about this before, is she right?

Yes, she is right. I know people that need to sit closer to the caller or near a speaker so that they can hear the caller better. It can get hard to hear the caller at times.

Especially as people age, they have needs for a spot where they can see and hear the caller, and a relatively comfy seat that won't leave them sore and painful. I think the halls should give the elders more consideration in this area.
