That sound familiar! When my husband 'tidies' his side of the bedroom all his junk suddenly ends up on my side. It is easier to do it myself in the first place.

Yes, and if he's already done some "tidying" by himself and calls you to help, doesn't he just look like a large toddler with big eyes, helpless like. That's so cute.

I think it was the child in him that I found attractive in the first place, but a 36 year old 'toddler' can be a bit exhausting at times!

Mine does as well, happy. I haven't driven in years.
When our kids were small, we would ask them to do something, and then we would praise them by telling them they were "big helpers". In toddler talk, that came out to "beek elpers". When I need my hubby to do something, and do it my way: say, now, I'll ask him to be a "beek elper". That's our code for "just do it".

You have made me really jealous now, my husband doesn't drive. I am the only driver in the family and I seem to be constantly on call to take one or other of my family somewhere.

I hate tidying. the thing is i love a tidy house. I need to get rich and get a housekeeper!

I am a bit dramatic as a driver and tend to yell at people and flip them off; I think that's why he drives me everywhere now.

My husband is a bit dramatic as a passenger! Every time he spots a train he lets out a yell, the first couple of times he did it he frightened the life out of me, I thought he could see a hazard on the road. Then he will sit in the passenger seat reading his train magazine, but the way he holds his magazine obscures my wing mirror. I have threatened to make him travel in the back seat.

Probably the last time I drove my husband anywhere was when we were driving home from the dentist office after he'd had some major work and was still kind of groggy. I could tell, though, that he was still apprehensive about the drive home, even after all those drugs the dentist had given him!
