I have a friend who is an erratic and rather terrifying driver. I was once foolish enough to accept a lift from her and when she launched out on to a roundabout without looking, I covered my eyes with my hands. I was embarrassed and I apologized for being a nervous passenger. She said she was used to it, and she told me that one on her passengers got down on his knees and kissed the ground when he got out of the car!

I hate being in a car as a passenger as it is. Let alone with someone that drives not to my liking. It can get nerve wracking to say the least.

I think that most drivers feel like that. I do enjoy being a passenger occasionally, but usually I like to be in the driving seat.

I just have always said that I am glad that they don't have breaks on both sides or the car or we would never get anywhere. lol

LOL Tater!
Passenger here; since I ride with my husband, who is a very good driver, but he does have his moments.
There is a certain passing lane on a curve that seemed deadly even when it was just a two lane road. Hubby takes the loop like a bat out of hell because he's trying to overtake the trucks, RVs and whoever else doesn't know the road. I grab the hand hold on the door (like that's going to save me) and close my eyes until he's done. Otherwise, he's a lamb and doesn't do much to scare me.

Default Quick, Cool and Tasty

What is your favourite summer dinner that is easy to fix, doesn't heat the house up too badly, and your family loves the taste?
