I hadn't considered the possibility of annoying adverts! It just seems like a wasted opportunity to me, there are people filling their cars and there are passengers too all just waiting until the car is filled and the fuel is paid for. They would be a captive audience for advertising.

I filled my car (a Ford Galaxy) up with diesel today and it cost me £70! I have cut back a lot on my personal mileage but there is no real alternative because public transport is expensive and unreliable.

they already have static advertising in petrol stations. I think there's advertising just anywhere you can squeeze in a board these days.
