Do you get teased for liking bingo?

Do you get teased for liking bingo? My family seem to find it hilariously funny, they say it is just for old ladies. It doesn't really bother me, they may as well laugh at me for that, it saves them from dwelling on all the other things I do to embarrass them!

When I first started going my friends thought it was a little strange. But someone of them have actually went with me now and have found that it wasn't what they thought and enjoyed themselves.

I guess they do take the mickey sometimes about my still going to bingo, but if I get some healthy winnings they stop laughing.

Apart from those friends I go with regularly, I don't tend to talk about Bingo much for exactly that reason. It's got such a reputation as a pastime for old women. Not that I care much, but no-one is interested in joining me

Maybe the next time you win some money you should mention that you won it playing bingo. That might make someone interested enough to try it out with you.

That's a nice idea, but if I mentioned winning they would just find lots of ways to spend the money for me!
