Default Love of the game?

Do you think anyone really goes to play bingo just because they love playing the game? Do you think anyone would still go out to a bingo hall if it weren't for the money and prizes? I think not! But, I could be wrong.....

I think perhaps the social aspect has something to do with it too. You can be someone different for a little while and forget about the everyday stuff. It is nice to meet people who are friendly and interested in you but don't really expect anything of you except a friendly greeting.

I think that Just hit the nail right on the head. The chance to be out of the house and the chance to forget everyday troubles, especially, attract a part of the bingo crowd. But I think the majority go for the money!

Yeah, I guess so... But I think I would do other things to get out of this. I mean, I really love bingo, but I think the thrill of winning has a lot to do with it.

The prizes aren't relly important to me at all. After all, I win them so rarely lol

I go to Bingo for the social aspects, it's a chance to go out with some mates to do something we all enjoy.

When compared to other things it is a relatively cheap evening out in a safe environment and you can be fairly sure of friendly company. It is also nice to be in an environment that enables you to chat to other people if you want to. Many pubs and clubs have deafening music and it is impossible to hold a conversation. The possibility of winning is nice, but I wouldn't go just for the money.

I go just because I like the game and it gives me something to do with my Mom that we both enjoy doing together. Now winning is a perk that's for sure.

Justontime, I think you summed it up for me perfectly. I must be getting on a bit, because I find going for a drink sometimes too loud these days & going for a meal is too expensive to do regularly so Bingo fits nicely into the gap.

Just, I think you summed it up nicely also. Being a musician's wife I get my full of loud music. Bingo is a quiet night compared to alot of amusements.

Music and loud sounds can be disturbing and make me want to leave a bingo hall.
