I have mousetrap and we only played it one time. It took so long to put the board together, that I didn't want to deal with it again.

Lots of kids games these days come with loads of little plastic bits which take ages to assemble and then get lost in no time!

I hear you about the pieces getting lost. I have yet to find a way where they don't lose them. I keep track for awhile and then before I know it a piece is missing.

I think with the game Risk that for me it is just to long of a game and just not my cup of tea. I think I have a mental block when it concerns wanting to learn how to play it.

I was watching a friend's little girl and she brought her CandyLand game along. She's only three and really smart, but she hasn't quite sussed which direction to go so she kept cheating herself and I was getting really close to winning the game. Well, I didn't want to do that to her, so I tried in my cunning () way to cheat a little bit so she could get ahead of me and win. She realised what I did and she got so angry at me that she started to cry and rolled herself up in a little ball and wouldn't talk to me the rest of the time she was there! Have you ever heard the like? I never met a three year old that didn't like to win! I hope she forgives me someday!!!

We tend to play Ps2 games and I used to like board games like Monopoly and Scrabble. We have them both on the PS2 now so we tend not to play the board games. At least with the Ps2 you are not going to lose the pieces though you may lose the games occasionally.

My son would get upset when he thought I was trying to let him win. But he wouldn't get so mad that it would last for that long. I wonder what she would do if you win a game and didn't let her win?

We got a Wii at Christmas and we discovered virtual bowling, it was great fun but after playing it over the Christmas period I was so stiff that I could hardly move!
