Default Bingo across the world

So, are there any differences in the way Bingo is played in different countries? I would assume it would all be pretty much the same, just maybe different rules and regulations.

I always wondered that myself, but assumed it was the same since lots of online bingo lets people from all countries play.

If I am right there are difference in the amount of numbers on cards and some of the patterns you can win at are different. I have not played in many other places so not sure?

The only place you ever see Bingo in Portugal is where the ex-pats are! However, I'm assured that it's played there at least. don't know about other places.

That's interesting. I guess if you were used to playing the way you learned it would be something to get used to with more numbers and such.

I bet ex-pats could support some bingo halls around the world. If British beer and nibbles were sold, there would be some money to be made! Think of the jolly coach trips that would make, from bingo hall to bingo hall.

I would hate to have more numbers! It seems like that would make my chances of winning even slimmer!

I prefer to stay with the bingo place that I like, moving from one to another's not my thing

I thought you guys were referring to different ways people play in other countries. I play just your normal American Bingo here but that is really all that is offered.
