Default How Else Do You Enjoy Yourself?

So what do you do when you're not playing Bingo?

I spend far longer than I ought to playing online games & chatting, but when I do go out it tends to be to eat.

If I'm not playing Bingo over at Pogo I'm playing on the Webkinz website. I'm more into them then my 5 year old is. LOL We have increased out collection to 6 of them now since I bought 2 more for Easter. As far as going out to do anything all my free time away from the house is devoted to t-ball. I run the concessions for my daughters team and I am also a 'team parent' (in other words I am a taxi for the ones whos parents are too lazy to drive them to practice LOL)

Sorry, but what's t-ball? I guess it's some sort of American team ball game for kids?

I'm probably being stupid here, but I can't think

T-ball is youth baseball for the real young kids. I have one son starting it now and one son headed into fast pitch so we will be spending a lot of time at the baseball field soon. My other big passion would have to be reading. I have always loved to read just about anything and everything.

My granddaughter who just turned four is on a soccer team and you never saw anything as cute as her in a soccer outfit! She and my other granddaughter take ballet and I think they love ballet more than anything. Their little brothers aren't really old enough to participate in team sports, but I'm sure as soon as possible they'll get suited up for something.
Other than my grandkids, I love to read (John Adams by David McCullough is a wonderful read I'm doing right now; if you love biographies this is a book for you), write (rubbish mostly), cook, hang out at the beach, sing, and watch good movies.

I would have to say work, work, and more work. I am a single mom and just don't make enough to make ends meet. I work 2 jobs out of the home and have a few other small jobs that I do from home, so it is pretty much non-stop for me.

I guess t-ball / baseball is the American equivalent of football, where Mothers have to spend every Saturday standing by the side of the pitch come rain or shine?

I'm trying to persuade my kids that they want to do something else, something that happens indoors!

I agree with Green about standing in the pitch in all weathers. There has to be some other way for kids to express themselves physically than in the wet weather.

I hear you about the wet weather. I hate the fall here when the boys play soccer. Oh my goodness does it get cold and wet.

...and wet dirty kids get the car so mucked up it's unbelievable! I'm still trying to work out the muddy footprints on the ceiling (or whatever they call the top of a car's interior! I'm having a bit of a senior moment, sorry).
