Beer and bingo?

I was wondering about how many bingo players enjoy a tipple while they play online bingo. I always have a beer at land bingo, but I tend not to drink while I play online, perhaps I'm scared of spilling it over my keyboard. LOL.

This line of thought came to me recently after our freebingo players voted with a 38% majority for us to open a PUB themed bingo room which has been named the "Two Little Ducks Inn".



See what happens when we let the players decide! LOL. I guess we can presume that 38% of our bingo players enjoy a drink!

Have you ever spotted a drunk bingo player online in chat rooms?

I don't normally drink when I'm at Bingo as I almost always have to drive, but I don't see any reason why not.

Sometimes I'll have a drink next to me when I'm online, but it's more likely to be a cup of tea!

I have never noticed anyone online that has been drinking. Personally I couldn't play bingo and drink. It don't take me much at all to get a buzz and then I would be missing a potential bingo.

I think the paranoia about shorting out their keyboards keeps the tipplers down. Or maybe people are deriving their satisfaction being online playing, and don't need any alcohol.

I'm teetotal so I don't drink anything alcoholic when playing bingo, but if I play games online I usually have a cup of tea close by.

I must confess that I like beer not at all. I was learning to like it about the time I got pregnant with my son (this was back in the stoneage when they weren't so concerned about alcohol and fetal development), and drank a beer at the wrong time. I was sick for two days with vomiting and migraine, and I've never been able to drink it since. Now, a little hard cider with a twist of lemon I would never turn down...land or online bingo...

I spotted one in a chatroom. It was quite funny to see him play cause for some reason ( I knew him from before ) he was playing better than ever. He got very lucky that they and took in some cash.

I think it's ok to do that. As long as you're not placing bets while drunk, why not! LOL

I mean later in the game you might start making poor decisions or not work fast enough - but as long as you're having fun right?

I don't drink alcohol, but I have a friend that will drink one or two while she is playing bingo.
