Hello - Internet gambling research at the University of Leeds
Dear all,
At the University of Leeds we're carrying out research into Internet Gambling. There are two parts to the research, the first is an online survey about Internet gambling and we're inviting anyone who gambles using the Internet (playing bingo, casino games, betting etc) to complete (anonymously, if preferred) - I hope to post a link directly to the survey on this site soon, in the meantime, if you would like to complete the online survey, please email me for the link: c.kenten@leeds.ac.uk
The second part is that we're looking to interview people for whom gambling on the Internet has caused difficulties e.g. financial, emotional etc. All interviews are confidential. If you would like to know more about the interview stage of the research, please email me: c.kenten@leeds.ac.uk
This research is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Responsibility into Gambling Trust (RiGT).
Hi Charlie - I've stuck the thread in Site Announcments - rather than have two threads, could you please edit this thread and tell us a bit more about yourself as way of introduction.
I havent' been gambling lately on the internet but do go play bingo at local halls. I would love to see the results of this if at all possible? Could you maybe post something on here when it's done?
