My mum has always been a quite indulgent granny. When my son became a toddler and you had to start telling him No, my mother would watch my son grab one of her knicknacks (she would have murdered any of her kids who touched them) and she would smile
at him and say,"No-nee, no-nee, no!"
I might be a bit overly indulgent with my grandkids, but she has me beat!
