In April 2011 Daily Star Bingo closed because the Cyberbingo network was disbanded however yesterday we discovered that the brand has made reappearance in the world of online bingo as Daily Star Games and what’s more, Vinnie Jones appears to be the face of the brand!
It was only a short while ago that another brand hit by the closure of the Cyberbingo network re-launched, Daily Express Bingo but whilst these two newspaper brands have chosen G2 Gtech to power their product, the flagship brand of the defunct network chose to launch again their Cyberbingo product with Dragonfish.

Dotty Bingo opened to players in the summer of 2011 and shortly after launch we saw the brand advertising their wares on television. It’s not a name that is well-known by the avid player online but could we be set to see this change with new advertising for the brand. There are four new commercials that are now live on YouTube (we have yet to see them on TV) and one of them has sexual connotations reportedly meaning the advert cannot be shown before the watershed.
The advert features a ‘cuddly’ lady laying on her bed in satin pyjamas, she looks cosy rather than provocative whilst she talks about things have been rather ‘disappointing in the bedroom’ with her husband Brain. A friend at Dotty Bingo had a suggestion for her….

Mondays don’t really have the reputation of being the greatest day of the week, after the excitement of the weekend, the first day getting started again can be tough. Thankfully, Virgin Bingo are at hand to brighten up your Mondays every week with their special Value Bingo promotion, sure to tide you through that dull old day.
Since Virgin Bingo switched to Gamesys, their promotions have been a little thin on the ground. However, there are some great new specials on the board now, making the journey with Virgin much more palatable indeed.

A recent complaint to the Advertising Standards Agency saw an advert on a social networking site banned because it was considered misleading after just one complaint. The advert offered a £10 free bonus to people registering for the first time but didn’t clearly link to the terms and conditions which state “entry to the promotion is available only to persons over the age of 18 who do not have any previous account with the promoter”.
In response to the claim Cassava (Lucky Ace Poker) said that the bonus was not given as the system checked their email details and found they had accounts at other brands that the company run. This got us thinking, there are several bingo brands online today that advertise free money but only if you don’t have accounts at other brands…
