Friday, Sep. 12th 2014 7:37 AM

Gala Bingo are long known for their charitable donations and often cover some great causes with many of their promotions and specials. Right now the brand has teamed up with the Anthony Nolan, the UK’s leading blood cancer charity and bone marrow register, and if you play Save a Life Bingo right now, you can help out too.

Bingo and charity really do go hand in hand and there are many sites out there dedicated to charitable donations. While Gala is most definitely a business not a charity they still do some fine work and this Save A Life Bingo special will give a minimum of £2,000 to the trust from the games.

Danyl Johnson, Dogs Trust And Postcode Bingo

Thursday, Aug. 21st 2014 7:22 AM

On a regular basis the team here at Playing Bingo check the bonus structure at all of the sites that we promote and whilst it is a mammoth task, and a little tedious, it is a task that often reveals some quite interesting changes. One such change sees Postcode Bingo, Danyl Johnson and the Dogs Trust all interlinked.

It might not be an obvious combination but it certainly caught our attention. The home page of Postcode Bingo now sees Danyl Johnson welcoming you to the site and the chance to grab a 200% cash match bonus on first deposit. To receive the bonus you do have to enter the code WIN200 or you will only receive the 100% standard bonus.

Charity Begins At Home

Thursday, Apr. 3rd 2014 12:10 AM

Charity Bingo has a unique selling point over other brands on the 15 Network, the brand offers £1 to charity for every £20 deposited at the site. In January this year Cancer Research benefitted from a donation of £392, in February The British Heart Foundation received £358 and last month Scope hit the jackpot with £529. There’s a real feel good factor to the site but unfortunately, there is a bad smell lingering around the brand that refuses to dissipate.

Prior to January 2014 we can find no historical references to donations made to worthy causes by Charity Bingo and despite contacting the site for information, it has not been provided and emails have been left unanswered. We do know that since the beginning of the year that has been a change in management and this is clear in the transparency of the site now, however it does not negate the fact that since October 2012 until December 2013 the brand refuses to provide details of their charitable donations.
