Paddy Power Bingo has always offered some really dull adverts for their brand in the past but a recent interview between Becky Liggero of Calvin Ayre and Oonah Flanagan of Paddy Power revealed that this is set to change. In the interview Oonah describes her involvement with the commercials as a ‘baptism of fire’ when she first joined the company in 2010 but then goes on to say similar things about bingo advertising as I have said on numerous occasions in the past.
‘We fell into the stereotypical way of doing things with bingo advertising; it was a lady in a kitchen with her mum and a laptop. It just didn’t feel very realistic, it didn’t feel like it captured the essence of true women and what they do.’

Bingo.com is one of the most established online brands to date despite having undergone many changes over the years. Of course the success of the brand could be attributed to the domain and name, a statement we would certainly have agreed with previously as we have always found their site too complicated. This is no longer the case, visit Bingo.com today and everything is clearer.
One of the new features that we think works really well at Bingo.com is the ability to see which of the rooms are networked and which are open to just players who have registered with this brand.

Bingo Godz, as we reported recently (read more here), is set to launch onto our screens in the not too distant future with some pretty impressive backing and bingo knowledge behind it. On 11th June 2013 in Homerton, Hackney the commercial that is set to air alongside the launch of the new brand was shot and thanks to one You Tube user, we have an inclining of what we can expect from the commercial.
The two-minute You Tube clip was posted by TheLostSoundsofMU and features an explosion from the Bingo Godz commercial. This is about all we can glean from the video.

Last month we heard the news that the rewards scheme at Ladbrokes Bingo was to be changing. It was the last month of the existing loyalty scheme and they run a special promotion, giving players a little bit extra. Now the brand has switched to the new scheme, and it looks like it may offer some tasty rewards for loyal players.

Prime Bingo is a brand new bingo site reported to be launching in the not too distant future according to our sources. Little is actually known about the impending launch other than it has been reported that it will be a site using the 888/Globalcom software.
Rumour has it that Prime Gaming, the company behind Prime Scratchcards and Prime Casino as well as a few other brands, has signed an agreement with the 888 B2B division Dragonfish for a self managed license to operate their own bingo network. Other details about Prime Bingo are more than a little sketchy.
Prime Gaming already have a bingo skin on the Dragonfish network, Bingo Yard, a brand that opened in March 2010. Could it be that this brand was the foothold before launching a standalone brand? We will have to wait and see.
