New And Improved Schedule From Winner Bingo

Saturday, Mar. 25th 2017 7:26 AM

If you’re a regular at any of the online bingo sites, you’ll be used to the schedule and know exactly where the bargain games are playing, when the free bingo is and what day is best four a little guaranteed jackpot action. This is nice, but every now and again sites like to change things and up the ante and Winner Bingo has done just that recently.

From 1st March a whole new schedule was introduced to Winner Bingo, a spring clean of the site if you like. New games, more prizes but all the great fun that the site has continued to offer since launch.

IP&S Brands Bite The Bingo Dust

Thursday, Mar. 23rd 2017 7:43 AM

IPS

IP&S
Site Closures

IP&S is probably a name that means absolutely nothing to you, and for those who are currently scratching their heads, it is a company that operates a number of bingo brands online. The most famous of those brands is probably Bingo Godz or Health Bingo but there are several currently under their hat.

Bingo Stars was their inaugural site powered by the Bede Gaming software, and some of the other names, Crown Bingo, Bingo Loopy, Bingos etc. were powered by the Virtue Fusion software. That was until a recent move to their own proprietary software that already hosted Bingo Stars. However, whilst many made the transition, some didn’t make the cut and have subsequently closed.

Bingo Boutique Opens On 15 Network

Saturday, Mar. 18th 2017 7:17 AM

Bingo Boutique is the latest brand to open on the 15 Network powered by the Jumpman Gaming software. It’s launch comes just days after the closure of another brand on this network, All Stars Bingo. The latter passed with little impact to the world of online bingo, is this new site set to make a bigger impact?

The honest answer is no, and not because it’s not got a great design or a decent welcome offer. The answer is no because it really doesn’t bring anything new of exciting to the table. Whilst Bingo Boutique is on a network that currently has just 30+ sites, we’re becoming bored with the same old.

Big Tease Bingo Lives Up To Its Name

Thursday, Mar. 16th 2017 7:49 AM

When it comes to naming your online bingo site, most operators have a struggle to come up with something original and relevant. All too often we see random words thrown in front of the word bingo to create a ‘brand’. This is certainly true of the latest site to launch using the BingoS software, Big Tease Bingo. Sadly it is not just the name that leaves a lot to be desired, the overall design does too.

That said, we did quite like the welcome offer extended to new players at Big Tease Bingo although it’s not quite what you would expect. We see sites launch with access to a free play room without a deposit all the time but this site goes that extra mile and offers a few free slot spins too.

St. Pats Party Weekend At Costa Bingo

Tuesday, Mar. 14th 2017 7:23 AM

Most people know that St. Patrick’s Day is not too far off now. As a bingo player, even if your didn’t, the rush of Irish themed promotions over the last week or so will have given you a clue. The latest that we have come across is from Costa Bingo and there is a trip for two to the Emerald Isle itself to be won!

The promotion was first announced on 1st March and since that time, players have been eligible to collect tickets for the big prize bingo game that plays on Friday 17th March at 9 pm. You have until 16th March to collect your tickets but alternatively, you can pre-buy them from the lobby at a cost of £2 each. If you prefer, you can exchange 10 Diamonds for a card too.

Land Bingo Is Alive And Well!

Saturday, Mar. 11th 2017 10:59 AM

The past couple of decades have been tumultuous for the land based bingo industry. The only real reprieve came from the taxation reduction in the 2015 budget which was literally a lifeline for many struggling bingo halls.

One main perceived threat to bingo halls has been the growth in online bingo. We say ‘perceived’ as we have yet to see any research which ‘proves’ that Foxy and friends are actually stealing customers from the halls. If the internet ‘broke’ overnight would we really see the bingo halls being flooded with desperate new players or, are online players a different species altogether?

Sun Bingo Geta-Wahey

Saturday, Mar. 11th 2017 7:46 AM

When it comes to online bingo promotions, we were a little concerned that when Sun Bingo moved from Gamesys to the Virtue Fusion / Playtech platform that they were going to lose their individuality in that area. They surprised us because whilst they do have the standard network promotions available, they continue to roll out impressive exclusives too.

The latest is the Sun Bingo Geta-Wahey and if your attention is already on what to do for the summer holidays, then it’s one that you will certainly be interested. Although we are well into March already, there are still plenty of chances to get involved and bag yourself one of the famous £9.50 holidays that the site has up for grabs. You might get really lucky and bag the top prize of a £1,000 holiday voucher!

Gamble Aware Launch Online Campaign

Thursday, Mar. 9th 2017 7:09 AM

GambleAware

Gamble Aware
Online Campaign

When it comes to responsible gambling, we have seen many changes in the world of online bingo over the years. As time progresses we see more and more tools made available to players to ensure that they gamble responsibly and in January 2015, the Senet Group launched a TV campaign to further strengthen people’s understanding of gambling responsibly.

Earlier in the year we saw Gamble Aware launch an online campaign called BeGambleAware and in comparison with the Senet Group campaign, BeGambleAware is far more sinister and dark. Often this sort of advertising can be harder hitting and as a result, have a longer last impact on the viewer.
