Gamesys Bonus Changes And Caesars Bingo Closing

Saturday, Mar. 3rd 2018 7:10 AM

There has been quite a bit of news breaking of late from the Gamesys camp and one interesting story is of the impending closure of Ceasars Bingo. We were informed of the closure by email and the wording was a little ambiguous – ‘CAESARS Bingo will no longer be operated by Entertaining Play Limited, which means that the site will be shut down’.

Does this mean that Caesars Bingo may re-appear in the future but on a different platform or simply that the owners no longer see any value in the brand? We can’t be sure but what we do know is that the site will close on Tuesday 27th March.

Health Bingo Closes Tomorrow

Tuesday, Feb. 27th 2018 7:32 AM

Health Bingo

Health Bingo

The Health Bingo launched in January 2014 but if we’re honest, like many of the Bede Gaming online bingo offerings, it didn’t quite catch our interest. The promotions weren’t up to much and the gaming experience wasn’t that great either so we weren’t overly surprised to hear that tomorrow the brand is closing to players.

It would appear that Health Bingo is going the same way as some other brands have recently and moving away from bingo to concentrate on the far more lucrative for operators option of slots / casino. Health Games is reported to be coming soon and when you visit the bingo site, it was this new venture that is being promoted to people landing at the site.

Bingola Closing Soon

Bingola Closing

To Close

Over the last few months we have seen many site closures across many different platforms. Over the last couple of weeks it has been the predominantly sites on the Dragonfish network that have shut their virtual doors for the last time. However, we have also seen Cashcade brands cease to trade. All of these products were powered by the 888 / Cassava software and the latest casualty is Bingola, a JackpotJoy Group brand!

Bingola launched in September 2014 and joined the likes of Costa Bingo in the portfolio of brands that offered a great selection of free games to the masses as well as a no deposit required bonus at launch.

Four Dragonfish Brands Close

Tuesday, Dec. 26th 2017 7:57 AM

Dragonfish Site Closures

Sites Closures

When it comes to site closures, it’s quite a rarity that a Dragonfish network brand goes out of business. On a recent check of the sites listed under 888 hat, we were shocked to find that no less than four had been removed from the list! Even more shocking were that some of these brands were quite established and have been around since October 2004.

So what are the reasons behind the sites closing? To be honest we don’t have a clue but we don’t think we’d be wrong in suggesting that it was something to do with the new tax implemented in August this year, or even the cost of updating the sites to the new software that Dragonfish are now using. The likelihood is that there were many contributory factors.

Changes Coming To Zinger Bingo

Saturday, Jun. 10th 2017 7:15 AM

Zinger Bingo first launched onto your screens in early 2016, the sister site of Hunky Bingo. Both brands are owned by Tau Gaming, the company behind the first ever UK site to launch with no wagering requirements, Blighty Bingo. Just a few days ago we received an email from this company informing us that on 13th June, Zinger Bingo as we know it is going to close. Don’t panic though, on the same day it will re-open but on a different network.

We were unaware that actually there are no two networks from Dragonfish, the email from Zinger Bingo was quite informative! The two networks, according to the email are the traditional, and best known, Dragonfish Globalcom Network and then more recently, the Dragonfish Real Money Bingo Network. Currently this brand is on the former.

Foxy Zero Vanishes!

Bingo News

Foxy Zero
Closes Down

Over the last few months we have seen many changes to popular brands under the Cashcade / bwin.Party hat. The changes include a change of mascot at Foxy Bingo and Casino, a makeover for Cheeky Bingo and today, we have found the Foxy Zero is no more!

Foxy Zero launched a few months after Cheeky Bingo opened in February 2009 so has been around for quite some time. However, whilst it may have been around a while, in all that time is has always been in the shadows when compared to the likes of Cheeky and Foxy Bingo. You only had to look at the overall design of the site before it closed to see that it had gathered dust. Where the main Foxy brand had received a swish new look, Zero aged.

IP&S Brands Bite The Bingo Dust

Thursday, Mar. 23rd 2017 7:43 AM

Site Closures

IP&S is probably a name that means absolutely nothing to you, and for those who are currently scratching their heads, it is a company that operates a number of bingo brands online. The most famous of those brands is probably Bingo Godz or Health Bingo but there are several currently under their hat.

Bingo Stars was their inaugural site powered by the Bede Gaming software, and some of the other names, Crown Bingo, Bingo Loopy, Bingos etc. were powered by the Virtue Fusion software. That was until a recent move to their own proprietary software that already hosted Bingo Stars. However, whilst many made the transition, some didn’t make the cut and have subsequently closed.

Bingo Bulldog Bites The Dust

Thursday, Jul. 28th 2016 7:46 AM

Bingo bulldog

Bingo Bulldog

When it comes to online bingo sites, we see many new ones join the ranks each month. However, today the news is of a site closure. Bingo Bulldog is the site and if we’re honest, we are shocked that it survived as long as it did!

Bingo Bulldog launched in October 2013 on the Parlay Entertainment software and was one of the few sites still trading that offer players this software platform. At launched we reviewed the site and found a limited number of rooms and even fewer players. The suggestion would be that this improved over time; otherwise, the site wouldn’t have been able to survive over two and a half years.
