Changes Coming To Zinger Bingo

Saturday, Jun. 10th 2017 7:15 AM

Zinger Bingo first launched onto your screens in early 2016, the sister site of Hunky Bingo. Both brands are owned by Tau Gaming, the company behind the first ever UK site to launch with no wagering requirements, Blighty Bingo. Just a few days ago we received an email from this company informing us that on 13th June, Zinger Bingo as we know it is going to close. Don’t panic though, on the same day it will re-open but on a different network.

We were unaware that actually there are no two networks from Dragonfish, the email from Zinger Bingo was quite informative! The two networks, according to the email are the traditional, and best known, Dragonfish Globalcom Network and then more recently, the Dragonfish Real Money Bingo Network. Currently this brand is on the former.

Foxy Zero Vanishes!

Foxy Zero
Closes Down

Over the last few months we have seen many changes to popular brands under the Cashcade / bwin.Party hat. The changes include a change of mascot at Foxy Bingo and Casino, a makeover for Cheeky Bingo and today, we have found the Foxy Zero is no more!

Foxy Zero launched a few months after Cheeky Bingo opened in February 2009 so has been around for quite some time. However, whilst it may have been around a while, in all that time is has always been in the shadows when compared to the likes of Cheeky and Foxy Bingo. You only had to look at the overall design of the site before it closed to see that it had gathered dust. Where the main Foxy brand had received a swish new look, Zero aged.

IP&S Brands Bite The Bingo Dust

IPS

IP&S
Site Closures

IP&S is probably a name that means absolutely nothing to you, and for those who are currently scratching their heads, it is a company that operates a number of bingo brands online. The most famous of those brands is probably Bingo Godz or Health Bingo but there are several currently under their hat.

Bingo Stars was their inaugural site powered by the Bede Gaming software, and some of the other names, Crown Bingo, Bingo Loopy, Bingos etc. were powered by the Virtue Fusion software. That was until a recent move to their own proprietary software that already hosted Bingo Stars. However, whilst many made the transition, some didn’t make the cut and have subsequently closed.

Bingo Bulldog Bites The Dust

Bingo Bulldog
Closed

When it comes to online bingo sites, we see many new ones join the ranks each month. However, today the news is of a site closure. Bingo Bulldog is the site and if we’re honest, we are shocked that it survived as long as it did!

Bingo Bulldog launched in October 2013 on the Parlay Entertainment software and was one of the few sites still trading that offer players this software platform. At launched we reviewed the site and found a limited number of rooms and even fewer players. The suggestion would be that this improved over time; otherwise, the site wouldn’t have been able to survive over two and a half years.

Rogers Bingo To Close On 1st November 2015

Saturday, Oct. 10th 2015 7:09 AM
Rogers Bingo

Closing Soon
Rogers Bingo

When Rogers Bingo first opened in the summer of 2011 we remember being quite excited about the new brand. It was the first to launch from Cladstone Limited and one that brought something new to the online bingo marketplace. However, whilst it was good to see another brand open using proprietary software, the actual gaming experience at the site didn’t live up to expectations.

Rogers Bingo is not a brand that we have ever deposited at. The cumbersome navigation, hard to understand rooms and complex promotions meant that it wasn’t a site we ever really got our teeth into. We won’t feel the loss when the brand closes on 1st November 2015.

Party Bingo To Close Next Week

Friday, May. 29th 2015 7:27 AM

Party Bingo is one of the longest established online bingo sites on the net but in recent years with the explosion of many big brands, the site hasn’t kept up with current trends too well and maybe the death knells have actually been sounding for a while but now the brand has announced that on 3rd June they will be closing their virtual doors for good.

Originally the bingo brand of the gaming giants Party Gaming, Party Bingo has fallen on less favourable times in recent years. From a player’s perspective it would seem there has been little investment in the brand for some while.

Totesport Bingo To Close

Saturday, Apr. 11th 2015 7:25 AM
Totesport Bingo

Totesport Bingo
To Close

There have been a few changes behind the scenes of late at some of the Virtue Fusion / Playtech sites; changes that don’t affect players but sites like ours that promote the brands. These changes have been around the affiliate programs that are used to promote the sites and recently we received notification about Totesport and how the brand is moving to a new scheme. However, Totesport Bingo is not making the migration because it is closing.

How permanent the closure of Totesport Bingo is remains to be seen, all we have been told is that it has been removed from the brand ‘for the foreseeable future’. The question is though, is the closure a great loss to the online bingo player or one that we wouldn’t have noticed save for the communication about the affiliate changes?

Paddy Bingo Now Clover Bingo

Tuesday, Sep. 23rd 2014 7:35 AM

When Paddy Bingo first launched on the 15 Network there were many that felt that brand were really pushing their lucky with the name. Paddy Power Bingo were already a well established brand we were obviously going to take umbrage. The owner must have known this at the point of launch but went ahead anyway probably with the belief that you cannot copyright a term like Paddy which is likely true. However, what they may have failed to take into consideration was the depth of the Paddy Power pockets and that it was highly unlikely that they were going to take things lying down.

Whilst we are not party to any hard evidence of this being the case and our opinion is one that is speculative, the fact the Paddy Bingo has now rebranded to Clover Bingo would suggest we are not too far off the mark.
