Major Changes On 15 Network

Thursday, Apr. 12th 2018 7:13 AM

15 Network

All Change At
The 15 Network

A short while ago we received an email requesting that we stop promoting a number of brands powered by the Jumpman Gaming software. The brands included some on the 15 Network, sites like Elf Bingo, Showreel Bingo and Dove Bingo. The email informed us of a re-design of all the sites and we’ve been eagerly awaiting its arrival.

We have to wait no longer, the new look is available now at the sites and first impressions are good. The changes are more than just a lick of virtual paint across the home page. There’s a change in the overall aesthetics, the software, promotions and even two new payment options have been added but there is a downside too.

Rehab Bingo Re-Branded Because Of ASA

Thursday, Mar. 15th 2018 7:11 AM

Advertising Standards Authority

ASA Ban
Rehab Bingo

Rehab Bingo first launched into the world of online bingo back in 2005 as part of the Rehab Group. Since launch, a percentage of the money spent at the site has been donated regularly to the Rehab Group charity. The charity provides health and social care services in Ireland.

As we reported yesterday, Rehab Bingo is no more as it has been rebranded as Rosy Bingo but it was only after we published the news that we became aware of the reason for the rebrand. Some 13 years after launch, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) have ruled that the word ‘rehab’ and ‘rehabbingo’ suggest that online bingo was a form of rehab that could be used to alleviate personal problems!

Rehab Rebrands To Rosy Bingo

Wednesday, Mar. 14th 2018 7:46 AM
Rosy Bingo

Rosy Bingo Is
The New Rehab

Our excitement was piqued recently when we heard of yet another new bingo brand that had launched, a brand called Rosy Bingo. Immediately we headed to the site to see what it had to offer to the discerning online bingo player, only to be disappointed to find that the site isn’t actually a new site but a re-brand of an already established name, Rehab Bingo.

What was even more disappointing was that the site had done very little to make itself to look even remotely different from its previous incarnation. The only difference is a change in logo, which you’d expect with the new Rosy Bingo name, and a new welcome offer. The latter being less than was offered by Rehab.

Is Gumball Bingo Worth A Chew?

Gumball Bingo

Gumball Bingo
Launching Soon

A brand new site is set to be launching very soon on the Cozy Games product and it is called Gumball Bingo. We’re not sure which of the two networks, if either, that the site will be opening on but we do know that it is owned by 8 Ball Games. This company has an already impressive portfolio of sites on the Cozy software.

This will be the first new brand that has launched on the Cozy Games product since Electraworks (Ltd) acquired the software. We’re excited to see what it has to offer but suspect it will be much the same as the others from 8 Ball Games on this software platform.

More Changes Afoot As CMA Announce Enforcement Action!

Tuesday, Mar. 6th 2018 7:09 AM

CMA

Enforcement Action
Coming From CMA

For many years now we have always questioned some of the rules around withdrawals from various bingo sites; you’ll find many examples in multiple articles on our site. For a long time we believed the Cozy Games product to be the worse. The reasons were many (high wagering requirements, minimum withdrawal amount of £50 and of course, the previous low cap on withdrawals).

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) seem to be catching up with the issues that we have been raising for many a year. There is an investigation underway around the restrictions put in the way of players withdrawing their money from online gambling accounts.

WSN Drop Bingo Tickets From Bonus Wheel

Thursday, Mar. 1st 2018 7:07 AM

Wheel Of Slots Network

WSN Change
Bonus Wheel

The Wheel Of Slots Network (WSN) never really got its foot in the bingo door in the same way that the 15 Network did but it’s clear that Jumpman Gaming as a bingo entity is not fairing too well with players. Step into the bingo rooms (and we did on the evening of 19th February) and you’ll find very few players in the rooms. On the 15 Network at 8.40pm there were 11 in the rooms and across on WSN, a couple more at 13.

It comes as no surprise then to find that the networks, and ultimately the software platform, is sustained by the slots players. This explains why both networks have recently removed the ‘bingo tickets’ section from their bonus wheels.

William Hill Hit With £6.2 Million Fine

Saturday, Feb. 24th 2018 7:56 AM

Over the last few months we have seen a number of online gambling operators hit with some pretty hefty fines from the Gambling Commission. The largest to date was £7.8 million against 888 but on Tuesday 20th February, the Commission published details of a £6.2 million fine levied against William Hill.

The majority of the fines that have been dished out by the Gambling Commission have been around failures in social responsibility and anti-money laundering. In the case of William Hill, the Commission described those failings as ‘systematic’ and upon reading the examples that are given in the article published on the official website here, you can’t help but wonder how the systems failed so badly.

New To 15 Network – Coffee Break Bingo

Tuesday, Feb. 20th 2018 7:23 AM

Coffee Break Bingo

15 Network Launch
Coffee Break Bingo

There are some new bingo sites that simply launch with no fanfare and actually, don’t even hit our radar until months after they have opened. Coffee Break Bingo is one such brand! According to various sources, this site opened in November 2017 but here we are in February and we only stumbled on the fact that it was open when looking into the reappearance of the Newbie Room on the 15 Network!

Coffee Break Bingo looks like many of the other sites available on the 15 Network but whilst others have followed the recent request to remove certain titles for landing pages, this new site still shows Fluffy Favourites and Sugar Train under their Hot Slots section.
