Friday, February 29, 2008After our last update on the change in date on the 3rd Annual Online Bingo Summit, I'm now able to point you to the Bullet Business page on the event. The date and locations are now firmed up, as are many of the speakers. You can see the full agenda details of the event at their site. The date of the conference is the 17th and 18th of June 2008, and it will be held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.
If you register before March the 28th, you can save £300 on the cost. Last year's event was a sell-out, so get in there early if you fancy it. What's more, if you use the discount code LLOYD when you register, you can get an extra £100 off the price.
Looking at the agenda, it looks like a busy couple of days. Last year I found the round tables one of the most essential parts of the event, so it's good to see they've added more of them into the running order. I'm also pleased to see that they've got a session looking at things like blogging, RSS and those sort of user-centric ideas. Last year there was a feeling that online Bingo didn't really need to address these areas, but maybe the mindset is changing. I've always believed that these commercial Bingo sites have a lot of work to do in this area, and mentioned so to a number of them at the event last year. It will be interesting to see if opinions have changed much in the last six months or so.
There's lots of other good stuff on the agenda as well, which will be of interest to anyone that's got an interest in the online game, be it from the industry itself, or one of the many affiliates out there. With panels on legal issues, customer satisfaction and innovation in the field, it's looking like another fascinating event.
