Sunday, October 14, 2007Well, this is just an awesome story - the 2nd Mecca Millionaire prize has been won. What makes it amazing is that it was won at the same club as the first one - Mecca's Glasgow Forge. The £1,000,000 prize has been won there twice in 21 days, which considering the game was projected to create a millionaire roughly once every 45 days is pretty good going. The 2nd prize has been won by a pensioner who's chosen to remain anonymous.
I've mentioned the National Bingo Game's report into the UK's luckiest Bingo cities before. Scottish clubs have topped it for the last few years. It seems that this big prize luck is staying north of the border and transferring itself to Mecca's game. I'm betting that Mecca Forge will get that little bit busier the coming weeks as Bingo players flock there to go for the hat trick.
