Thursday, February 15, 2007As predicted back at the start of the year, the growth of the branded Bingo offering continues. Woolworths have become the latest in a line of non-gaming related retailers to offer an online Bingo solution. In this case it's powered by St Minver, who are increasingly becoming the white label Bingo network the big brands turn to.
WoolworthsBingo will be in good company, joining the likes of Virgin, Butlins, Lastminute and Littlewoods at St Miver. As far as I can see, this year is set to be the year that everyone and their aunty gets an online Bingo presence. I can't help wonder if the market is starting to get a bit saturated with all these new non-Bingo brands, and I'm not certain that I'd rather play one of these branded sites over one of those from a traditional Bingo supplier. Time will tell how many of them go the distance, but I'm certain there will be a lot more on the horizon. Read more...
