Bingo News Round Up

Well, as I've been busy getting the new site up and running, I didn't update the news section. So, without further a-do, here's a round up of the stories I missed over the last couple of weeks.

Firstly, a Swindon school's vandelised pond was restored to full glory thanks to volunteers from the local Gala Club.

From Scotland comes news that punters at non-smoking Bingo halls are spending less - due to disappearing for smoke breaks in the intervals rather than playing party Bingo. The answer is obvious, put the fruit machines outside under an awning...

News of massive payouts from one club, Buckingham Bingo in Peterlee, County Durham has paid it's members £5 million in prizes in the space of two years, thanks to a number of big wins.

And finally, we return to Gala for news that they plan to float on the stock market and are laying out an 18 month timetable to becoming a public company.
