Something Different From Blighty Bingo

Posted by Nickie on: Saturday, Feb. 4th 2017 7:59 AM

As our readers will know, we have our finger on the pulse when it comes to new bingo sites but we will readily admit that we don’t usually get excited about what they have to offer. All too often we find that the new site we’re about to feature is just the same as 100’s of others we’ve already played at. However, last week Blighty Bingo revealed something different to the online bingo marketplace.

It’s not just the welcome bonus that’s structured differently at Blighty Bingo, it’s the rooms and even the design that don’t conform with what you would expect from a site that has launched on the Dragonfish network.

No Wagering Requirements At Blighty Bingo

The biggest difference is that Blighty Bingo carries no wagering requirements on their bonuses! What you see is what you get by way of a welcome offer, what you win is yours. This is clear to see on the home page, both in the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) of the welcome offer and further down the page.

The welcome offer is £70 worth of bingo tickets and 10 free spins when you register and make a £10 deposit with the site. The T&Cs of the offer are:

First time depositors only. Min deposit £10. Max Bonus is £70 Bingo Tickets plus 10 Free Spins. Winnings resulting from Free Bingo cards and Free Spins will be credited to your real money bankroll. Promotional code: BLIGHTY. General Site TCs apply.

Please note that the £70 of bingo tickets are awarded on the Guaranteed Win game that plays on 1st or 15th, dependent on the date that you registered with the site.

Additionally, under the heading ‘Wager Free Bonuses’ it states:

Free bonuses mean free bonuses, all winnings are paid as cash with no wagering requirements! Sweet!

Although we registered and played at the site, we didn’t get lucky with our freebies so have been unable to test the offer to the end.

We’d be keen to hear from any of our readers who did though and were able to withdraw.

Is this all a sign of things to come with the impending tax change expected in August 2017 where sites will then be taxed on free money awarded to players? Will the value of free tickets be included as a taxable amount? We’ll have to wait and see but this could be the way forward for the online bingo industry and something we see more of over time.

Withdrawal Rules At Blighty Bingo

Like other sites, there are some withdrawal rules and the first is that you must have £35 in real cash before you are able to process a withdrawal. This is £15 higher than that of a standard Dragonfish site. The minimum deposit before withdrawal is the same, just £5.

We haven’t even touched on the differences in the main lobby, we’ll leave you to discover that for yourself.
