Until 3rd May 2016 the wagering requirements at Mecca Bingo were quite simple. When you deposited and wagered your original deposit, this was considered to be wagering requirements met. The bonus was not added to your account until you had spent your initial deposit on bingo, but when you did get the bonus, there were no additional wagering requirements.
However, on 3rd May 2016 we received notification that there rules had changed at Mecca Bingo. The change is quite significant but even with the new wagering requirements enforced, they are below industry standard so should not put you off the brand.
The changes that came into play were introduced at the beginning of the month to Mecca Bingo and include a change to the wagering requirements and the length that the welcome bonus is valid for.
Changes At Mecca Bingo
When you receive your bingo bonus as soon as you have spent your initial deposit on bingo tickets, you are now required to wager the bonus twice before winnings are available for withdrawal.
This means you have to wager £80 on bingo prior to being eligible to process a withdrawal.
When compared to other brands on other networks, this is quite low. For example most 15 Network brands require that you wager £100 before your first withdrawal (there are exceptions; Tidy and Film Bingo require just £30).
Dragonfish brands have wagering requirements 4x the deposit + bonus which, on a £10 deposit with a 100% cash match bonus would be £80 and you didn’t receive nearly as much bonus.
Validity Of The Welcome Bonus From Mecca Bingo
In addition to this your welcome bonus is now only available for seven days from the point of receiving it. This means that you have to wager the bonus within this time period or it will be removed from your account.
Even with the changes, the structure of the bonus is more than fair in our opinion.
