Dragonfish Move The Bonus Goal Posts

One of the things that we ensure we include on our bonus pages here at Playing Bingo are details of the wagering requirements and any pertinent information with regards to withdrawals. The reason for this is simple; we don’t believe that many of the bingo sites online today are transparent enough with these details, often hiding them away in Terms and Conditions that many players don’t actually read. As part of keeping the information up to date, we often spend hours changing details and that’s what we will be doing tomorrow as Dragonfish brands like Beatle Bingo are moving the goal posts of their bonuses on 24th September 2015.

The change won’t mean that you can’t withdraw winnings; it just means that you will have to meet the wagering requirements before withdrawing. This is something that Dragonfish brands like Beatle Bingo didn’t require before.

When you deposit at any Dragonfish brand, be it your first deposit or a reload that receives a bonus, the wagering requirements weren’t really set in stone because there was just one wallet for all the funds – both cash and bonuses.

There are now two wallets at Dragonfish sites, your bonus wallet and your cash. Any bonus that you receive is subject to 4x wagering for bingo and 80x for casino. So, if you win money using bonus cash, the funds are added back to your bonus account until you have met the wagering requirements. It is only then that they are transferred to cash.

If you wager cash, you win cash and, therefore, it is available to withdrawal subject to having met the minimum spend and having the minimum withdrawal amount in your real balance.

Opt Out Bonuses From Dragonfish

We understand the reasoning behind this decision, but what we would like to see is the ability to opt out of receiving the deposit bonuses.

When we asked 888 directly if this was an option, if the bonuses could be optional, the answer received was a little bit wishy-washy but clearly indicates that deposit bonuses are not optional:

Question: Is there going to be an option for a player to opt out of receiving a bonus?

Response: Depending on the bonus. Some bonuses include promo codes so only players who insert the promo codes will get the bonus

Please note: We have used Beatle Bingo as an example of a Dragonfish / 888 / Cassava site, for a full list of all brands using this software click here. Not all brands will be subject to the same wagering requirements, whilst we are in the process of checking each brand individually, we suggest that you double-check with the site at the point that you choose to deposit.
