Tombola And Responsible Gambling

All online bingo sites have some sort of procedure in place such that you can gamble responsibly but it is quite rare that these are actively publicised. Often it’s a link quite far down the page or lost in the Terms and Conditions. This is not the case at Tombola Bingo as we found on a recent visit to the site.

If you are a regular with the brand then you will be aware that Tombola Bingo don’t offer a specific promotion page but when logged into the site, you can see the news about big winners and upcoming promotions. It was here that we noted the £1 bonus of setting or confirming your deposit limits.

It is certainly not often that you see a brand so actively promoting their Responsible Gambling options but the home page states ‘We want to make sure everyone knows about the new features we’ve added to help you stay in control of your spending. So we’ve decided to award a £1 bonus just for setting a deposit limit, even if you just confirm the limit that is already in place. To find out more login to your account and click Responsible Gambling.’

When you do this you are presented with options to set a limit on your deposits of between £10 and £500 per day or per week. You then have another option as to how long you want to lock the limits in place; either 24 hours, one week, one month or three months.

When setting your limits at Tombola Bingo you should note that you can lower them at any time but increasing the amount will take 24 hours to come into effect.

Tombola also offer players the option to ‘Cool Off’; a period where you exclude yourself from the site for a set period. This is from one day to four weeks. Additionally you can self-exclude for a predetermined amount of time (six / 12 months or permanently).

We’d like to see more bingo brands follow the lead of Tombola Bingo, after all one of our favourite sayings is ‘Never gamble more than you can afford to lose’. The Tombola Responsible Gambling options encourage you to follow that ‘mantra’.
