A recent visit to one of the newly launched Dragonfish networked brands revealed that once again this network have changed their withdrawal rules! It was only in September that we noted that the minimum deposit before being eligible to withdraw winnings had been reduced from £30 down to £20 (read article here).
Shortly after, in October, we called into question the Iceland Bingo Terms and Conditions as they still had the higher minimum deposit before withdrawal amount (read article here). Today, a visit to Smooch Bingo revealed that the amount has been put back up to £30 following recent changes to the layout of the Terms and Conditions for Dragonfish networked brands!
It would appear that operators have been informed by email of the changes, although no specifics were given drawing attention to the withdrawal T & C amendments, yet players – the bread and butter for any brand, were not informed.
Withdrawal Rules Taken From Smooch Bingo on 10th December 2012
We’ve always found with other networks and sites that if there are changes to the Terms and Conditions then you are asked to ‘Accept’ them before continuing, and rightly so. When you sign with an online bingo brand, or sign any contract for that matter, you are asked to agree to a certain set of T & C’s. Therefore shouldn’t you then be asked to agree to the new rules and direction given by the brand in question as to what has changed?
Could it be that whilst the Dragonfish network were trying to streamline their Terms and Conditions (all of them are now on one page rather than several) some used an old set of withdrawal rules? We’re just waiting on confirmation before we make all the changes required to our pages.
Update: Confirmation has now been received from Dragonfish that the minimum deposit required before withdrawal is now £30.
