We previously detailed the difference between the standard Dragonfish withdrawal rules and those available at Iceland Bingo, also a Dragonfish networked brand (Will Mums Be Playing At Iceland Bingo?). On revisiting the Terms and Conditions page for withdrawals we are now happy to report that the brand have lowered the minimum deposit required before withdrawal to that of the other sites on this network, £20.
The difference at Iceland Bingo was highlighted following a player complaint posted on a forum and whilst following the thread it came to light that the brand later emailed the complainant citing an “error in the system for a short time”. The error is now resolved and the player has been advised that they could now withdraw their winnings.
Unfortunately, as is often the case when players come up against this sort of issue having been told they are not eligible to withdraw, the winnings were spent and Iceland Bingo added to a list of “will not visit again” brands.
It doesn’t look good for a new bingo site to suffer this sort of error but there will only be a few informative news sites like ours, and of course the original forum post, that highlights issues like this.
We’re pleased that Iceland Bingo have made the change inline with other Dragonfish networked brands but the question is, why was the error not noticed earlier? The Terms and Conditions of all brands on this network are standard, visit any number of the sites on the Dragonfish network (full list here) and you will find that, with exception of first deposit bonus rules, the Terms and Conditions are the same.
